In order to comply with fire and safety regulations, admission to the 2017 Saint Vincent College December Commencement ceremony will be by ticket only. A ticketing system has been devised and is listed below:
All graduates participating in the commencement ceremony are required to complete the online commencement form, which will be available between Monday, Oct. 2, and Monday, Oct. 30. This will provide a single location to gather all information regarding commencement, eliminating the need to communicate with multiple offices. Through this form, graduates will be able to:
- Order ceremony tickets (no ticket limit)
- Confirm attendance at commencement and reception
- Order academic attire
- Order name cards and announcements
- Confirm phonetic spelling of name to be read at ceremony
- Confirm major/s for listing in program
- Request special needs passes and tickets
Phase One: Oct. 2 - 30, 2017
All degree candidates who have applied for graduation through the Registrar's office may fill out the online request form to reserve their tickets between Oct. 2 and Oct. 30. There is no limit to the number of tickets that may be ordered. Please fill out the form completely to ensure that your needs will be accommodated. Reservations will also be taken for the reception following the ceremony, to be held in the Carey Student Center Lounge. Graduates do not need tickets for either event. Changes to ticket requests may be made until Friday, Nov. 17; however, the academic attire order will be placed on Oct. 31. No changes or additions will be able to be made after this date.
Phase Two: Ticket Distribution
Beginning Dec. 4, tickets will be available for pickup in the Event and Conference Services Office. Since all seating will be reserved, every effort will be made to seat families together.
After Dec. 4, additional tickets will be available in the Event and Conference Services Office, located on the second floor of the Fred M. Rogers Center.
Please direct all questions regarding Commencement ticketing to the Event and Conference Services Office at 724-532-5030.
